Sixth grade is the last year of primary school. It prepares our primary students for middle school, joining the two, and is quite meaningful for them. In order to push our Grade 6 teaching staff to a new level, we held a teachers’ meeting on March 4th. Our school leaders also attended the meeting, hosted by Director Zhang Xiaolan.

　　First on our agenda, the teachers who were in charge of lesson preparation reported their teaching plans along with the present conditions of teaching and learning. Teachers were reminded that they must individually carry out an overall revision of the new knowledge once they have finished teaching the required materials. We require our teachers to combine explanations with practice, improve the students’ basic knowledge and abilities, pay more attention to poor students, and attach importance to advanced students. Our revisions should be diverse and all exercises should be specifically chosen and explained in time.

　　After that, Director Zhang analyzed the graduate classes’ advantages; her instructive opinions enlightened the teachers a great deal. She required our staff to strengthen communication when preparing for lessons and cultivate the students’ study habits to improve their ability to learn.

　　 Finally, the school leaders were concerned about the difficulties that our teachers face in the classroom and how they could help to immediately resolve them. The meeting ended harmoniously. We all believe the graduate level staff will achieve in teaching this year!
